Refund Policy

Please forward all correspondence regarding Returns & Exchanges to: hello@correyandlyon.com with the subject line "Return Query".


When contacting us regarding a return, you must provide a clear photograph of the problem with your accompanying email for us to assess your situation.  We regret that we are unable respond without full understanding of your individual case.


Please note that ALL return queries must be made within a reasonable time frame from the date of purchase.


Correy & Lyon will not offer an exchange or refund on items for damage after purchase/delivery resulting from misuse, accidents (drops and breakages), alterations, exposure to corrosive or abrasive substances or other factors outside of normal expected use.  Correy & Lyon reserves the right to ask you to demonstrate that you did not cause or create the fault in the item. 

EARRINGS 
For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be exchanged or returned.

OUR 'CHANGE OF MIND' POLICY
If you wish to return an item purchased via the Correy & Lyon website this must be done within 14 days of receipt of the purchase.

The item must be in resaleable condition, the packaging is intact and undamaged, and the item unworn, unused and as sold.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

(a) For exchanges, please include a pre-paid, self addressed return envelope so that we can send your new item to you.  If you do not include this, new delivery charges will apply.

(b) Credit notes are only valid for use in our web store and may not be used to purchase items from other outlets

(c) For hygiene and health reasons, our ‘change of mind’ policy does not apply under any circumstances to pierced earring purchases.
(d) Our ''change of mind' policy does not apply to discontinued or sale items.

 OUR CUSTOMERS' RIGHT TO A REFUND
As we make or pack all of the goods ourselves, each item must pass a number of Quality Control checks before it is dispatched from our studio.  We take all measures to ensure that we do not dispatch faulty goods.

Our customers are entitled to a refund if the item is found to be faulty, not of merchantable quality or not fit for its purpose. Our policy under these circumstances is as follows:


(A) you notify us of the fault within reasonable time of receiving your order; and
(B) you return the item within 3 days from receiving a Return Authority from us; and 
(C) you provide us with your proof of purchase
If you do not notify us of the fault or return the item within reasonable time, you will not be entitled to a refund at the purchase price but you will be entitled to exchange the goods.

Correy & Lyon reserves the right to ask you to demonstrate that you did not cause or create the fault in the item.

Refunds will be credited against your original method of payment, excluding delivery costs.
If you are entitled to a refund but you would prefer to exchange the item or receive a credit note of equivalent value to the item, we are happy to do this for you.



RETURNING GOODS
You are responsible for payment of delivery charges incurred in returning merchandise to us (including faulty and damaged merchandise).  

We recommend that you return merchandise by registered or traceable post or courier to ensure it is received by us.  All returns must be packaged appropriately as we will not accept returns that are damaged in transit.  We are not responsible for merchandise that is lost in transit.

6 MONTH MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
All Correy & Lyon jewellery comes with a 6 month warranty (from date of purchase) against manufacturing defects. All products that are deemed to be faulty, as a result of a manufacturing error will be replaced at no cost.

Products that are no longer covered by a warranty or are damaged as the result of mishandling or mistreatment, will not be eligible for replacement.

Mishandling includes;

  • Shipping
  • Accidents
  • Abusive knocks
  • normal wear and tear
  • Ageing and natural tarnishing
